Our Clubs Purpose
"To develop, grow and promote the sport of sprint kayaking within the Hawkes Bay Region"
Where we started
The Hawkes Bay Kayak Racing Club was formed in October 2005 after members from three of Hawkes Bays Surf Life Saving Clubs wanted the opportunity to affiliate to the national kayak racing body.
Over the last 16 years the club has enjoyed great success producing quality athletes who have won national titles and have gone on to represent our country at an international level.
Our club is based at Farndon Park on the banks of the Clive River.
